In 2017 Kaldewei presents the Miena bowls made of Kaldewei steel enamel with its floating lines and visual lightness.
“Washbasin bowls are highly visual. Since they sit majestically on top of a piece of furniture it is essential that the bowls possess a special, emotional aesthetic. At the same time, they should not be too polarising so that they work with other bathroom products and leave creative scope for a wide range of different architectural designs. The Miena design is based on clean-lined, timeless geometrical shapes that have been freed from pure geometry in a natural, fluid way.”
"My aim is to create aesthetic objects that touch the heart anew every day. The bathroom is a very emotional space. This is where I start and end my day."
Miena vitalises the bathroom with a new color palette of blue and violet nuances. The new colors are staged by Bryan Adams through the project “natural union”.
Apart from his musical work, Bryan Adams is an award-winning photographer with a nuanced eye. His photos are often taken within his philanthropic causes. His photographic work won him multiple accolades and were exhibited at institutions like Somerset House, Photokina, Kunsthalle Mainz and NRW Forum Düsseldorf.
