I studied at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig in Germany and the Institute of Design in Umeå in Sweden and graduated with Master of Arts in Product Design in 2004. After working three years for Phoenix Design in Stuttgart and five years for Tesseraux+Partner in Potsdam as Designer and later as Partner, I founded in 2013 my own studio for product design.
I set high value on a close collaboration with the producing companys and beeing involved in the process of conception, engineering and realisation of a product. It is important to understand why people need the new product. The studio work received several awards such as Designpreis Deutschland, Red Dot Design Award, IF Design Award and others and appeared in different publications.
